A Lancaster man has been arrested on two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Timothy Michael Baker, 32, was arrested Friday, July 29, and charged with two courts of sexual exploitation of a minor, second degree. Each count carries up to 10 years in prison.
Investigators received a cyber tip, which led them to Baker’s arrest. Investigators say that Baker distributed files of child sexual abuse material.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest. The sheriff’s office Internet Crimes Against Children unit investigated the case. The S.C. Attorney General’s Office and Homeland Security investigators assisted in the investigation. The Attorney General’s office will prosecute the case.
