It will no longer be team camps, 7-on-7s and organized team workouts. On Friday, the real football season starts in South Carolina with the beginning of practice.
All three local Chester County teams have wrapped up productive summers and are ready to jump into the preseason. The Chester Cyclones will actually get the earliest start, with the team’s first practice scheduled for Friday morning at 8:30. The Lewisville Lions will go next, with the first official practice under new coach Leon Boulware slated for 9 a.m. on Friday. Great Falls, as is custom, will actually start practice on Monday (Aug. 1) at 4 p.m.
